LONESTAR SOCCER CLUB
24 HOUR SOCCER MARATHON
“Kids Helping Kids”
**UPDATE**
On Saturday, November 14th, Lonestar Soccer Club Business Manager Rob Ferguson presented Miracle League Board member Jack Newton with a check for $41,340.92! Rob indicated that they were still gathering funds and that the amount will almost certainly go up, but no matter what the final amount ends up to be, the fundraising event was a huge success.
The Miracle League Board was thrilled with the contribution, and in accepting the check Jack told the assembled coaches and players from Lonestar Soccer that they were indeed "Kids Helping Kids", and encouraged them to come out to the Miracle Field next season to see how their efforts are making a difference in the lives of so many families in the Austin area.

There are over 1,500 young Lonestar players actively trying to raise money for the
24 Hour Marathon Event. The event is hoping to raise more than $100,000 and money raised will be split 50/50 between the T&C Miracle League and the Champions Foundation.
Lonestar Soccer Club will play soccer continuously for 24 hours, with each LSC team participating for one (1) hour time slot in a 24-hour period beginning on November 13th at 5:00pm and ending on November 14th at 5:00pm.
We are very grateful to the Lonestar SC for choosing to support the T&C Miracle League in this way!
As you know, The Miracle League at Town & Country is a place where children with disabilities realize opportunities that they thought they would never have. It is a place where children play baseball on their own specialized field, have fun with peers, parents cheer their kids and everyone has a great time. It is a special place where "no" is said to no child.
The Lonestar Champions Foundation was created with the ideal that every child who dreams of becoming a champion has the opportunity for success, not only on the field, but in life as well, regardless of their economic background.
Many thanks for your support!
